The problem
Before Corvant, Urban Point’s engineering team was losing time to a manual, ad hoc workflow for turning product ideas into shipped code, with no standard for how to use AI consistently.
What we did
We redesigned the development process around a documented AI-assisted workflow, breaking the work into repeatable stages, Figma assets, requirements, front-end and back-end code generation, review, validation, and deployment, and codified the coding standards, review criteria, and quality checks that previously lived only in individual developers’ heads. Built on Anthropic and OpenAI’s models, with Codex and Cursor handling code generation and review.
The result
Urban Point now ships roughly 4x more code with the same team and the same quality bar as fully manual development, not faster and sloppier, faster and equally rigorous. The standardized workflow gave the org a shared, documented way to generate and review AI-written code, freeing up engineering capacity for higher-value product work. Their Head of Engineering put it directly: “We need to implement this across the board for every engineer.” Their CEO: “This is amazing, how much time we have now to work on the things that matter to us.”
Why it matters
AI coding tools without a standard become an inconsistent experiment that depends on which engineer happens to be good at prompting. The standard is what turns AI from a one-off productivity trick into a repeatable advantage, one that compounds instead of fading once the novelty wears off.
